University of Calgary Fully Funded Masters Scholarship 2024 for International Students

The Sustainable Thermal Energy Systems Research group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Calgary is currently looking for a passionate, highly motivated, self-disciplined M.Sc. student for a project in integrated concentrating solar power and pumped thermal energy storage. The department is specifically looking for individuals who are passionate about sustainable energy and who possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, can work independently, and have excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Have a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
  • Meet the entrance and English Language requirements of the University of Calgary.
  • Experience and proficiency with engineering simulation and programming tools, including ANSYS Fluent, TRNSYS, Python, MATLAB, and COMSOL Multiphysics, among others.
  • The position is available immediately and is subject to successful admission to the M.Sc. program in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Calgary.
