Ashesi University in Ghana and ETH Zurich have been offering a joint Ashesi-ETH Master in Mechatronic Engineering Scholarship since January,2022. 40 students from 7 African countries are currently studying at Ashesi University. The programme is delivered in block courses developed and taught in tandem by faculty from both universities in Switzerland and Ghana.
The programme is founded on a strong partnership between Ashesi University, ETH Zurich, industry and supporting partners. This collaboration is maintained through regular visits and exchanges.
Applications for the 4th cohort of the Ashesi-ETH Masters Scholarship to study in Switzerland and Ghana are now open.
The Ashesi-ETH Masters Scholarship offers full scholarships covering tuition, academic fees, laptop & equipment, accommodation, health insurance, one trip home each year, monthly stipend for other living expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be African
- Have a BSc or MSc in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Mechanical, Process and Mechatronics Engineering
- Have a grade of Second Class Upper or better
- Demonstrate Proficiency in English Language
