The Jiangsu University Presidential Scholarship 2024 is now open for International students willing to study in China .
The “President Scholarship for Foreign Students” is specially established by Jiangsu University to attract more outstanding foreign students to apply for admission to the university. The Scholarship aims to encourage foreign students to study hard, give full play to their strengths in various aspects, and promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
The Scholarship provides international students an opportunity to study in one of China’s best universities covering tuition, accommodation, and a CNY 25,000 per year.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Foreign citizens with high school graduation and valid passports,
- Be aged 18-25, under 18 years old need to submit a guardian’s guarantee.
- Applicants should have completed high school or possess equivalent qualifications.
- They must hold a valid passport. 18 to 25 years old.
- Applicants under 18 years of age should provide a guaranty from a guardian.
- Applicants who were previously Chinese citizens and have subsequently acquired foreign nationality shall meet the requirements in the relevant regulations of China’s Ministry of Education.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and generally not exceed 30 years old.
- Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. Principally, an applicant’s age should not exceed 30 years old.
- Possess a master’s degree or equivalent, and generally not exceed 40 years old.
- Applicants should hold a master’s degree or its equivalent. Principally, an applicant’s age should not exceed 40 years old.
Scholarship Benefits:
Doctoral Degree Programs
- Type A: Covers tuition and accommodation fees, with an additional living stipend of CNY 5,000 (one-time).
- Type B: Covers tuition and accommodation fees.
Master’s Degree Programs
- Type A: Coverage of CNY 25,000.
- Type B: Coverage of CNY 20,000.
Bachelor’s Degree Programs
- Type A: Coverage of CNY 10,000 (first year only) for specific programs.
- Type B: Coverage of CNY 10,000 per year for students from designated countries.
Accommodation Facility
JSU provides on-campus dormitories for international students, featuring double rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and water heaters. Dormitory buildings are equipped with kitchens and common areas. Due to limited availability, accommodations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
